Export data to readable format, modify and import back

Hi,

we are a software house that produce android application. We have a planimetry in autocad with various point of interest. We have an android app to geolocalize this point of interest. Now we need to export these data related to this points (street, id number and so on) in a readable format from autocad, read it from our android app, add coordinates to the file and finally import back to autocad. Is there a way to achieve this? Is there any readable format exported by autocad?

My english is not the best but i hope that it's clear what we need.

DXF is an ASCII-format with >>>that<<< definition.

You may also want to look at the dataextraction command as it can generate an Excel file of drawing data. You can filter what you want to output with this option.

You can also use Excel to generate an AutoCAD script file (.scr) to easily create geometry.
