Autocad 2019 not responsive when creating and saving drawnings

Hi there,

I just installed Autocad 2019 for Windows, and CAD would become freeze when I try to creat or save drawings. i can choose the which folder to save or which template to use, but it will not response in a second. I dont know how to solve it. is this a problem relate to my PC?

Have you tried checking for any updates to 2019? Also have you tried re-starting your PC after install?

I re-started my PC, and even re-installed CAD, but the problem still exists. is this problem relates to which disk I put the autocad? cuz i found there are 2 autocad folders in two separated folders.

Please also tell me, when you installed AutoCAD, did you change the default location where it was installed? Also, are you trying to save to a Cloud location or a local drive or something else?

Do you have a solution for this? having the same problem crashes when saving.

Hi @ermiass,

The original poster never came back to confirm anything so I don't know the specific causes of the issue.

My questions remain the same though for your instance also. Are you saving to your local drive, network, cloud, etc.? IF you experience crashes, do e you have the chance to submit a CER report? If so, please give me the report number so I can take a look.

Is your AutoCAD fully updated from your account page or from the Autodesk Desktop App?

Can you prepare a NFO file for me?
