Mtext String longer in AutoCAD 2019 than 2018

I have created a drawing in vanilla AutoCAD 2018 with Mtext ....looks great

When I open the same drawing in Vanilla AutoCAD 2019 the same Mtext string is now longer

The properties of the text are identical in both 2018 and 2019

Anyone know why?

I am on 2016. Without looking your file I guess your AutoCAD versions are on different machines.

If this is the case, please check the font used for the same text style in both AutoCAD versions. Iit is probably the font is missing in one of your machines.

Same machine and 2018 & 2019 opened simultaneously

Then the SHX-Font is missing.

Open your file, look at your TextScreen [F2], isn't there a message for you?

iso3098b.shx

Open file in2018 and look at yout Textscreen, no message about iso3098b.shx?

Search for this font file, type in: (findfile "iso3098b.shx") <enter>

Normally C:\program files\autodesk\autocad 2018\fonts

Copy that file to your 2019 font folder, nomally C:\program files\autodesk\autocad 2019\fonts

If the message appearing in 2018 too, which font is 2018 use to replace the missing font?

We have also seen different formatting results in 2019, something changed in that area of the code. For example it now attempts to show superscript when coming from rich text format (RTF). I say attempts because it doesn't shrink the height of the superscript portion enough.
