topic Little problem creating a solid from surfaces?! in AutoCAD Forum

Hello to all who read this!

I am relatively new to Autocad and until now was able to solve appearing problems without help. But atm I am really stuck. I want to design a reflector for a COB LED and simple solids just didn't cut it. So I used surfaces for the first time.

Here is where I am struggling: I designed the outer and the inner shell for the base of the reflector, so far so good. Now I try to close the gaps at top & bottom to convert the model to a 3d printable solid. I was partially succesful but its not possible to use the sculpt-command in order to convert the model into a solid. If anyone can give me a hint, I would be very happy. Thx in advance, have a nice day, Robert Zimmermann.

Thank you so much for taking your time and me by the hand. Now it is so obvious to me, sometimes all the possibilities are a bit overwhelming for my brain. 1 hour ago I was frustrated, now I am very happy and able to proceed with the project...
