It might be easier to make separate drawings for each type of equipment or just put each block on a seperate layer and freezing layers to control what block displays in the drawing and controlling what linework and text displays in each viewport by assigning Layer State overrides to them.

I use autocad to create construction plans. I need to use various type of equipment and each one has different information. I have created blocks for each page so I can switch between the different types of equipment located in model space so the block just switch between viewports showing different areas in the model space. On the first page I make a selection on a block containing Text for the different equipment. My question is if there is a way to link the blocks on the other pages to automatically switch after making the proper equipment selection on page 1.

Do you mean you want to replicate the content in one layout to appear in other layouts without having multiple static copies of the source?

No I have different blocks showing different areas in model space related
to a certain equipment type. Right now I manually go to each page and pick
the proper block to show the equipment type being shown. I would like to
link the blocks so I can select the proper equipment type for this
particular project and the others will on the other pages will also switch
over to this equipment type automatically. The blocks are not copies of one
another.

This is difficult to envision.

@miguel350silva wrote:

On the first page I make a selection on a block containing Text for the different equipment.

By "page", I assume you mean layout. Is this correct?

What does it mean to "make a selection on a block?"

@miguel350silva wrote:

My question is if there is a way to link the blocks on the other pages to automatically switch after making the proper equipment selection on page 1.

Can your blocks be nested (into a larger block containing the blocks you want to be "linked")?
