Now I understood You! Sorry for my bad English. I have to try again corrert write (ask) my question.

First step. I tested Corona in 2014 3ds max and 2018 - speed difference is very big. For example 3770 in 2014 render 30 min project. In 2018 9 min. In 3ds max (2018) corona i7-6700 rendered 8 hours project with 1950X the same project rendered 40 min. 1950X - 9 times faster than 6700. Good

I know it becouse I tested it. But what about Autocad. Do I get the same results in rendering in Autocad or render engine have limits. I ask it becouse I work in Photoshop and tested 4, 6, 8 cores in opening PSB file (4GB) - no difference in time. I`ll OC 8700K to 5GHz - no difference.

I ask about Autocad do understand ablity of render engine. In Russia people who I know say - render engine in autocad - full ****. Create project in autocad and inport to 3ds max for rendering. But nobody have 2019 autocad and 1950X for testing.

I hope correct used words to write about what in my mind.

Thnx 😃

Hi there!

Can anybody tell me does 1950X be faster than 8700K or 7700K in render?

I know that in 3ds max 1950X realy faster (project on 6700 8+ hours) on the 1950X - 40 min - WIN.

But waht about Autocad 2019? Anybody here work with Ryzen?

I`m from Russia and all I know near me work in very very old hardware or have 7700K and CRY whay rendering so slow.

Here is my last hope to find answer. Why official Autodesk support keep calm, how they create product and can`t get answer @Anonymous 1950X faster in autocad that 8700K@. =(

I aked on last weeken on this forum about does GTX 1030 give comfortable rotate oan walking in project or quadra will be realy fast?

About Render
Thats not part of Autocad, thats part of OS and so you should get your 3ds information also for autocad.
4 cores vs 16 with the same Frequency(compared with6700).
Yes, it is faster for Renderings.

Hah I know this link. I wait not link but just answer ho realy have 1950X and can say YES jack! Buy 1950X couse he is relay fast in mental autocad render.

You give me link - there is don`t give me ansver. For Example There is no test with Adobe Premiere pro GTX vs Quadro. Why... I 100% know (tested it) that GTX 1060 3GB 2 times faster than PNY Quadro K2000. But I also know that 1070 1080 1080ti - get the same speed results in CUDA rendering in video. Lol -(

So wait longer.
I haven't 1950x and can only calculate. Thats simple and 16cores with the ~same frequence works more in one hour than 6cores.

Important: You wrote about mental, but there isn't mental ray in 2019.. !

" 9 times faster"

This is unusual and not only advantage of the processor , the 1950x can actually be up to 4x faster when rendering(3.4x4cores vs 16cores, simple math) for corona which is a 100% cpu render engine.
In case of 9x the system was limited at other settings or specs.
(I always speak of the standard setup ).

OT: For PSP more like 4-6 cores is no gain
and how important are RAM is depent of what features you are used in the project.

AutoCAD is the *last* tool in the list I would use for rendering. High-quality, large resolution output takes time, and there isn't much anyone can do about it aside from switching to distributed rendering. There's a reason why studios do their work on render farms and not the users' desktops; if you want something faster than a desktop then have a look for renting time from an online render farm. Many of them support common renderers like Corona, RedShift, etc. along with 3DSMAX.
