Hey all,

Scenario: I got a new workstation with windows 10/Autocad 2019(full). Previous workstation had Windows 7/ Autocad 2013(LT) I have a Corsair Scimitar Pro mouse that I moved to the new workstation and the cross-hairs are "jumpy" but only with the corsair mouse. If I use other mouses(mice?) they are very fluid. My corsair mouse has a bunch of buttons and is customized with all my commands, so I would prefer to use that one. This was not a problem with Autocad Lt 2013 on my old workstation.

My hardware should be more than sufficient to handle any of this. Im not sure if its the mouse software, or the autocad software. Please help me figure out where to start to resolve this issue.

Thanks in advance!

Im not too familiar with that device, though i have a few suggestions

Have you tried cleaning the sensor with compressed air?

Have you tried changing the mouse surface (mouse pad, book, desk etc)?

Have you updated the Driver?

Have you tried checking to see if there is a firmware update?

Have you tried dropping the DPI or the dropping the polling rate?

Have you tried switching to a different USB port Perhaps changing from a USB 2 to something else)?

This is well outside of my wheel house but from what i have read iCUE is meant to replace CUE and LINK. Im not sure if that has happened or what the status is on all of that or if its a group install kind of thing. I have read that others have experience Link being a resource drain and had luck gaining smooth operation with link not running. can you open your system resource while trying to use CAD and the mouse and see if something is using a lot of resources. Or perhaps see if link was installed and uninstall it.

I have the same issue as you using a Logitech G502 mouse with Autocad 2019. It only lags in model space but not mousing over menus.

I also have the same problem, I have several gaming mice, I've tried Logitech and Razer, they are the ones I usually use to work. I found out that the polling rate is at the source of the problem. if you put the mouse at 125hz the slow cursor problem disappears or reduces a lot. if I set it to 1000hz, I notice the cursor slow, for example when I draw a very long poyline. i don't think autodesk is aware of these types of questions.
