I need to send a drawing with a Raster image attached, but when I do, the person receiving the drawing can't see the Image.

Perhaps you missed to send the raster image?

Use command:etransmit for sharing and include all external stuff like images, external dwg, plostyles .. , thats the best way.

Thank you. I tried to etransmit already, but for some reason it wouldn't find the path where I saved the Raster Image. IT just shows the box where the raster is on the drawing.

This is normal when you send your CAD file without the image itself . i suggest to follow and read this link that guide you how to solve your issue . >> Click <<

This sounds like an Absolute Path issue with the referenced location. When your email recipient opens the .dwg, AutoCAD is trying to find the image using the exact same path as you, which is probably 1) your hard drive or 2) your firm's server. Either way, the recipient does not have access to any of those locations. If you have properly performed an etransmit, then the image is still available, but now, it's on his computer and no longer has to go to yours.

It's funny how computers do exactly as told and go to your hard drive to retrieve the image (or your firm's server). Since the email recipient has not provided instructions to locate the image on his hard drive, the computer is still doing exactly as instructed even though you, or your recipient, may not realize it. Yes, his computer is still going to your hard drive for the image.

After etransmital, your recipient must reestablish the path to the image by doing this:

Open External References palette.
Select the image in question.
In bottom half of palette, scroll to 'Saved Path' and click the ellipsis on far right.
Navigate to the new location of the image (which should be on his hard drive).Select image, scroll to Saved Path, then click the ellipsis.
