topic Rectangle in 2D in AutoCAD Forum

Hi guys, so I'm simply trying to draw a hollow rectangle. However, once I type all the dimensions for it, the output appears to be an almost solid crucifix that contains my rectangle in the middle. Could anyone show me how to adjust this back to the normal shape? Thank you!

It looks to me like you have the right rectangle, but the Polyline has excessive width. With the Polyline selected as in the image, right-click and bring up the Properties palette, and set the "Global width" to zero [or at least something much smaller than what's in the image].
