AutoCAD 2018 Stuck On Opening Screen

Recently a user has been unable to get pass the start screen for AutoCAD where they can create a new drawing, or an open existing one. It seems to be frozen in that there is no response to anything being clicked on. They are unable to exit the program normally as well the Task Manager is having to be used to terminate the software. This is happening every single time they open up AutoCAD.

Are other user's on your network not having this issue? If so, what is unique to this computer/specific user?

I managed to fix it either by resetting it back to the default settings, or by opening it as an administrator then opening normally. I am not totally sure which actually fixed, it may have been a combination. Either way it's working now.
