can't save as

when I use save as in AutoCAD the computer stock. the problem is solved when repair install just for the first run then stock again. I think it is a virus how can find the virus which prevents autocad from saving or block it if antivirus was not slove the problem.

Your AutoCAD version is...?
Your WIndows version is...?
Where are you saving files to exactly?

Hi @Anonymous,

If you feel this is a security software that is blocking the SaveAs, try rebooting in a diagnostic mode (msconfig). Turn everything off and reboot. If AutoCAD is happy then it is likely one of the application that get loaded at startup and you can re-enable them one at a time until you find the culprit.

does this problem just lately appeared ?

does it happened in every CAD .dwg file or just in a certain one ?

if you make a new drawing saved on your Desktop place ... any changes ?

autocad 2009 $ civil 3d 2011
cant reach to dialg box save as ... the computer stock and the restart

HI @Anonymous,

Are you saying that you just don't see a dialog box when you want to perform a Saveas?

Set your FILEDIA=1 and see if that corrects the problem.

You can copy the file to and open a new file to try saving
If not, you can use the Dxfout command
Or the audit command, choose Y
