hello is there a way i can array from a circle to square? something similat to the loft command but in 2D.thanks

do you want multiple circles in XY plane or in XY and Z plane or do you want to make a cylinder out of the circle?

Check your circle properties, there is one to display your circle as cylinder - i think you mean that.

Hi,

are you asking for a transition from the first element as circle to the last element as rectangle .. all in 2D?

Then sorry no, AutoCAD does not have such a function.

Otherwise please show a drawing or screenshot with a sketch of what you like to get.

thank you for your screenshot.

Sorry to say that there does not exist any function in AutoCAD to get that done.

I would try to solve that with _OFFSET of the outer rectangle and then run command _FILLET with different radius, but not sure if that result is what you expect.

Something like this, perhaps?

The intermediate shapes are made of 4 Arcs each. The endpoints of the Arcs are at third-points of the yellow line, and the midpoints at third-points of the red line. Something similar could probably be automated, but if you have any specific criteria to define the intermediate shapes, different from my assumptions, that would help.

circle and square separated by z value needed, loft solid, slice at x sections where needed, the edges of the solids are the shapes needed, attached dwg
