How to permanently hide the objects or isolate??

Dear All,

I Need Help from yours, how to Permanently hide the selected object.

If we use Isolate command that one temporarily only showing, i want to show selected objects.

i want to permanently hide the object. I attached the photos. before isolate and after isolate

Anyone please help me for find the solution.

plain AutoCAD?

While there is a possibility to do so, only you would know about it and another user would have big problems
even you if you forget that there are other (hidden) objects.

So I just want to say that programming has this possibility
but I do not support this wish.

Structure your file differently to get to that goal,
eg you could cut a block or Xref with XCLIP.

The command and the command to change and delete clips are documented for each user and
would be a better choice in this case, at least one that I can support 😉

Dear Sir,

HIDEOBJECTS Command also not permanently working. its that temporally only hide the objects.

after completion of HIDEOBJECTS i go to save and Re-open the drawing, again the HIDEOBJECTS are showing.

i want to permanently hide the object. it's like a WBLOCK Command method.

Sorry not having understood your "permanently" that way.

In that case change these objects to layers which are frozen.

permanently means after saving of DWG file, reopen the same drawing i want to show only selected objects. Now unselected objects are hiding....

I agree that you should put them on Layers that you can Freeze, or define them all [on their original Layers] into a Block, and put that Block on a Layer you can Freeze. [Or... the truly permanent way would be to ERASE them....]

permanently hide? Try ERASE command, about as permanent as it gets.

Or XREF this file into a new dwg, then XCLIP command out what you never want to see in that file ever again until you change your mind. This leaves the original intact.

Or WBLOCK out what you want to create a new file, then do whatever you want there.

Yeah, I was going to say, if there is not meta data that you are using in fields related to these objects, why not just delete them? Why keep data around if it's not being used? I never understood that.

The easiest way to do this might be to just block the entities out to a separate drawing.
