HI,

I HAVE SUCCESSFULLY CREATED MULTILINE STYLES THAT WE WILL BE USING TO PRODUCE OUR DRAWINGS, NOW I'M TRYING TO CREATE A QUICK ACCESS TO THEM IN THE TOOL PALETTE, I WAS SUCCESSFUL IN ADDING THEM, HOWEVER WHEN I SELECT THE STYLE THAT I WANT TO DRAW WITH DOESNT DRAW, BUT THE I HAVE TO CHOOSE THE STYLE BY GOING INTO THE MLSTYLE COMMAND.

MY QUESTION IS, HOW CAN I ADD MLSTYLES TO THE TOOL PALETTE AND HAVE IT WORK, OR IS THERE A BETTER WAY TO HAVE QUICK ACCESS TO THE STYLE THAT I WANT TO DRAW WITH.

THANK YOU

Tool palettes does not support MLINE's specific properties such as style, justification or scale. You can only set a general properties such as color, layer, ltype and so on. Only option then is to adjust tool's macro.

Hi @Anonymous,

Tool Palette properties can retain the Mline Style but you will need to make the adjustments manually beofre it will work.

So, create your various linestyles in your template file or "library" file that will remain accessible through all of your AutoCAD sessions. Then you can drag them to your tool palette.

Then, as @ВeekeeCZ suggests, rt-click on the icon in the tool palette and select the Tool Properties. You can set the current mline style and then start the command in the "Command String" field..

Please select the Accept as Solution button if my post solves your issue or answers your question.
