Viewport size changing issue

When modify the dimensions for a viewport using properties or quick properties windows:

- if you modify the width, the viewport scale is preserved (all OK)

- if you modify the height, the content is fitted taking into account the new height and the scale is changed (not OK AT ALL)

Can this be fixed?

Have you tried locking the viewport before changing the size? It's a good idea to lock your viewports once the scale is set and is a part of any decent drafting standard manual.

Hi @w64bit,

That is an interesting discovery for sure. I'll bring it to the attention of my team and see if anyone knows a reason for this to be the case. In the meantime, there are some simple workarounds available: use the corner grips on the viewport to modify height/width, or reset the scale of your viewport after modifying the height in the properties panel.

Some people say that the definition of insanity is doing exactly the same thing and expecting different results.

In the last 8 years I made 11 reports by support cases.

None were solved.

From what I post here, 3 posted were solved.

Mathematically it's infinite better here.

So no support cases anymore. Only on forum.
