topic Why does everything appear thicker when using the Shade command? in AutoCAD Forum

I need to print a .DWG and I have to use the shade command for a 3D model, however the final result looks very bad because of the thickness, here's what I'm getting:

When it should look just like this:

(that's just an example but as you can see everything is rendered just fine and clear)
These are my print settings:

I'm new to AutoCAD and I still have to figure out a lot of things 😅
Thanks!

To get the linework like the title block to plot nicely, all of that should be in Layout.

So I cut&paste all of that from Model into Layout.

Then I used the Mview command to create a Vport matching the window size of the title block

I also use PageSetup command to modify the Layout to use the following settings:

Dwg To Pdf.pc3, A4 size Paper, Plot Window area, Center offset, at Scale of 1:1, Portrait orientation

This way the linework looks right and only the Vport looking at the 3d object is rendered
