Block editing

Hello, I'm currently using AutoCAD 2021. Previous versions i was able to add/remove items to/from a block when i was in 'edit in place" command. I don't see this ability in 2021. Was it removed? Does anyone know how to add/remove objects to a block without exploding it and renaming it? That could real complicated for some designs.

Is it locked?

Check your BLOCKEDITLOCK and set it to 0

this Sysvar is for BEDIT.

Perhaps your screen is not wide enough and you just can see one Icon in your ribbon?

Please share a Screenshot of the whole program window, while in refedit command.

Are you using BEDIT or REFEDIT? If you're talking about adding other things already in the drawing into the Block, or removing things so that they move "out" into the drawing and are no longer part of the Block but are still there, those are things you can do in REFEDIT, but BEDIT is not set up to do them. Double-clicking on a Block to edit it gets you into BEDIT.

Pretty sure, REFSET works (if the layer isn't locked),

but share your program screenshot, es mentioned before.

Screenshot of the whole Desktop(if your program is not fullscreen or if you have more than 1 monitors), so we can search the RefEdit TOOLBAR

Press your keyboard button PRT PRINT or whatever the key is labeled on your keyboard.

Then paste it by CTRL+V into your next reply

TEST: While in Refedit, rightclick on another standard (acad.cuix) toolbar -> is the RefEdit toolbar checked in the list, or not?

Okay.

While Refedit is not active:

Command: -TOOLBAR

RefEdit

Enter New Position

200,200

The toolbar should appears

and you can close it by [X]

Run RefEdit command

Is it visible now?

The commandline is not fully visible.
