Hi,

>> but they don't go all the way through

If you are referring to the dwg-file from 10 days ago then the cylinders are not high (deep) enough to build holes through the hole base object.

So first make these cylinders longer, before you run command _SUBTRACT.

If you are referring to a different dwg-file then please show us this file.

I have drawn the object attached and I can't figure out how to make it a solid. I have the five holes that should be open on top and only go 25.4mm deep. I've been reading the forum and trying different functions with no luck. Can someone please help with this?

Thank you for your help, I really appreciate it. I'm still trying to figure
out how to do it. Can you help me with the attached drawing? I'd like to
make a 3d solid to send to a printer with the holes but they don't go all
the way through.

Sorry, I didn't even see the video posted. But, I'm referring to the attached drawing. It should be solid with holes that do not go all the way through. See attached

Hi,

>> It should be solid with holes that do not go

>> all the way through

You should not start with surfaces (as you extruded arcs) when you want to work with 3D-Solids, always make sure when you extrude or revolve or loft something that these are closed curves!

So create first a closed polyline instead of meshes, then run command _EXPLODE with that one closed polyline to get the base body. After that us command _SUBTRACT to subtract the cylinders from the base body.
