AutoCAD 2018 fatal error

hi,

i got this message during working on autocad

fatal error: unhandled access violation reading 0x0000 exception at 840d5787h

and right after it the program crashed.

does anyone know what should i do?

With a specific dwg-file or also with other files?

Does that happen for a specific command or dialog?

If you have not done any customizations you might try to reset settings to default (>>>details<<<)

Please start these 2 commands: _ABOUT and _GRAPHICSCONFIG and show us the screenshot of these dialogs.

Hi,

thank you for your screenshots, AutoCAD is up-to-date, your graphic card driver is newer than mine (also newer can be an issue, my driver version is 416.81 and that works well).

In case you have a laptop and the vendor has own drivers for their version of GTX1050 you might have more success with that vendor specific driver.
