Applying Hotfix Autodesk® AutoCAD® 2014-2017 ECW Hotfix

Please advise on the steps to apply this hotfix, Autodesk® AutoCAD® 2014-2017 ECW Hotfix.

I assume all we need to do is drop the .dll file in the folder, C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2016\, register it and restart the application.

Hi,

you only need to replace the existing files (make sure AutoCAD is not started + a backup from the existing DLL before).

There is no registration necessary as this is not an ActiiveX DLL.
