Well, you have no choice but to install the latest AutoCAD version which is now up to 2025.

You can download the trial version here

You can check the min requirements here

The certified graphics hardware here

Hello,

I havent used CAD for a long time. I would have to start from scratch.

I got myself a cheap HP Elitedesk SFF to do some CAD - 2d /3d house design and some landscape attempts.

Last i used cad was the version 2002 with a P4 3.2ghz laptop.

The i76700 cpu, would not suite never versions of CAD? It came with win 10 pro, but i would have preferred win7 pro, due to the less resources. I am loooking at aGTX 1650 GPU, maybe try to find a good price on RTX3050 or A2000, but the later being pricey. I have 16gb ram and hp ssd.

I am thinking maybe 2018 version or maybe later, which are the most stable?

Thank you

Sam

My i7 6700 meets the recommended requirements. The GPU, doesnt i was looking at. Also i dont think it would hurt to increase the ram from 16 to 32 also. Regards Sam
