Object snap, I need help

Hi, I'm using autocad 2024 and lately I've run into the problem that when I want to measure something, or mark it for displacement etc, when I zoom on the object it won't mark a corner and my cursor seems to jump around it. Do you know what this could be? I have Object snap turned on at endpoint and zoomed out it works after zoomed in it doesn't.

It sounds like you may have grid snap turned on. F9 to toggle it.

My thought also. Sounds like SNAP TO GRID is turned on. Toggle F9 and see if it helps.
