Audit command is not deleting the errors found

Hi,

On running audit command, it is detecting the errors but its not deleting it

Since we are using 3rd party software to open autocad, it is throwing error because of this

Kindly help in resolving, I get below message on running audit

So it was fix in this moment, thats my translation.

You can test it in this way:

Start Autocad by a well working desktoplink with parameter /safemode

Open your file by using command RECOVER, AUDIT, qsave.

Close and reopen the file, audit shouldnt find errors, richt?

Close your session and start in your current usual way (3.rd part software).

Open your new file and run audit again.

Errors detected or clean?

AND: Why do you ask here and not on the problem side (3.party),

whats the name of the software? Or try you program things yourself, it sounds so)

hi,

Yes it shows as fixed, but wen i open the file through 3rd party software

It shows the same CAD handle, which is shown as fixed and throws a error

I am not a programmer and sorry i cannot give the 3rd party software information

But, If I delete all those objects mentioned manually. File will open without any errors

When i run audit it is not deleting these object, Kindly provide some guidance

Open the file using Command -RECOVER and see if it's gone.

Did you try running PURGE after AUDIT, close the file and then -RECOVER?

Why should cad delete the objects, the message said FIXED, not deleted.

The problem / error is pointing to the draworder, nothing more.

Hi,

first I would think that you are missing an AutoCAD update as your SortEnt table gets defects.

A second choice is to use copy and paste into a new drawing file.

Can you please start command _ABOUT with the latest version, I even don't know which version of AutoCAD you are referring to.

That is the second problem, not the first one. If we know how to solve the errors in one file (which is the primary issue) then we can discuss how to get the methods to repair one file applied to all files.

Have you tried the WBLOCK suggestion?

Any chance we get one of those files?

After going through many pages of notes from the forum, i *think* the problem is related to a block that was created in a vertical. I was trying to open the drawing in AutoCAD and run AUDIT on it and it kept giving me the eDuplicateKey message and wouldn't fix the issue (although the message said it was fixed).

I was able to fix this problem by doing the following:

1) Open the drawing in the vertical this drawing was used in previously (I was using Civil 3D 2018)

2) Run AUDIT within that program (it will correct the errors in there) - save it.

3) I open it in AutoCAD 2019 and ran AUDIT again. The message did not reappear.

It should be noted that I did have the Civil 3D 2019.3 Object Enabler installed.

I am working with client data and do not have permissions to post the drawing.

It was my hope that detailing what I went through to fix the issue would allow others with the same error to try these steps to see if it works for them.
