topic Cant snap to certain object in both spaces. in AutoCAD Forum

I am trying to snap to a intersection of a line I have in paper space and a block I have in model space. The block is a circle, and I'm not able to use intersection to snap to it. But with other situations, like a line intersecting a line in different spaces I'm able to INT snap. I know I can draw the line in paper space. But I've had this issued before with more complex scenarios, so I would like to know the solution to this issue if one exists.

Thats interesting...

A quick work around is while you are in paperspace, use CHSPACE and select the circle block. This will bring your block into paperspace. Make your new geometry and then use CHSPACE to send the block back to model space.
