Hi,

I have set a custom paper size of 914x2500 because i have to plot large plans.

AO and larger but when i prints, it prints out the full 2500mm and doesn't cut where the plan stops.

Does anyone know what settings i have to set that it only prints the window i selected?

Is this a printer setting or can i fix this via Autocad?

Are you telling that printout comes as you want but the printer is not cutting the roll after the print is over? If that is the case make sure the media is set to ROLL and not SHEET

Some plotters can define a drawing area, some cannot.
The pictures are two such plotters. Xerox determines where to cut, Canon works with pre-created formats, which take into account the desired length

Most HP drivers have an INKED AREA option that need to be turned on if you want the device to cut the paper where the drawing stops instead of the paper size you chose.

Just be sure you have no "dots" or anything that outline your paper size in your layout/titleblock etc., that will still be counted as an "inked area".

Then post a Screenshot of your Autocad Printer properties and also the HP Pagesetup tab where it is showing the papersize and Orientation. I doubt the Auto-Rotate/Rotate 90 Degree option in the Printer properties is the reason for this.
