Annotative text

I have a question about scaling annotative text in paper space. In my paper space I have 5 drawings that will be scaled differently in my layout space. I need all my text to print at 1/4" despite the viewport they are in. When I scale the text to fit one viewport all the text changes. Basically im wondering if there is a way to scale certain text blocks without all text changing since i have multiple viewports

You will have to 'add' the various annotative scales to you text. While in modelspace, select your text. Next, add each viewport scale to the text. After you've selected all the relevant scales, click OK to exit the scale list, then OK again to exit Anno Object Scale dialog.

1-You must add all relevant annotative scales to the text. You Must use a font that is ANNOTATIVE.2-Select all annotative scales from the list that are applicable to your Viewports.

You will have to use an Annotative text style for all this to work. By using an annotative text style, your text will have a consistent text height regardless of the VP scale.

Check out video below... you don't want to scale text, you want to make it annotative and assign the right scale to match the scale of the viewport you are using.
