Autocad 2020 - Pointcloud problem

Good morning,

I have installed autocad 2020 and I insert in model space a recap project (.rcp).

In model space all works correctly.

When i try to go to layout and i make a new viewport the autocad have a lot of problem with render and it is unusable.

I have try with a lot of rcp project and i have alwayse the some problem.

If i open the same file with autocad 2019 all works correctly.

My graphic card is Nvidia Quadro M4000 with 8gb, intel i7700k and 32gb ram with disk M2 very fast.

Please send me some suggestion to solve problem.

Now for me Autocad 2020 is not usable.

Not sure why you're posting in the installation and licensing forum about a workflow issue inside of AutoCAD. Use the AutoCAD forum. https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-forum/bd-p/706 I will have the moderator relocate your posting there to better suit your needs.

Tell Autodesk about it here https://knowledge.autodesk.com/contact-support/using-my-product

In the meantime stick with R2019, let other 'testers' work the bugs out, try it again in a month or two.

For me it seems to work well, what exactly is the problem?

Which visual style have you assigned to your viewport?

Good morning all,

yesterday i have tried and i always have the glitch problem in graphic of pointcloud but

i dont know how this morning after a shutdown of pc and restart all works correctly.

I start now to verify with my old file if is all good but for now the problem is solved.

I also have reinstalled the NVIDIA driver but after reboot I had the same error.

I think also that the first time ou have to disable manualli hardware acceleration and restart.

Now after shutdown and restart all works.
