Viewport created in wrong layer

I am learning - but feel very stupid.

I am learning to make viewports. But I created one in the wrong layer. I cannot seem to delete it, or to change the layer, or do anything to change it. I have turned on all my layers, unlocked it. It must be obvious - but no amount of searching is helping.

How do I change the layer of a viewport?

Show us, post your DWG file and identify where we can look for this viewport.

Here you go - I made the middle viewport in "Dimension" by accident - the green boundary shows the outline of the viewport is in Dimension layer.

<I'm an expert in ArcGIS - I can't believe this is so hard! In Arc, it's easy to separate each layout>

I opened your file and your viewport and layer are not locked so it will be easy for you to switch layers. Select your viewport that's on the wrong layer, and in properties, change the layer to viewport. And don't feel stupid or beat yourself up when learning new software... we have all been there.

I finally figured out the difference between Paper and Model in Layout - that was the secret!!
