XREF Layers

Hi,

I am having issues at the moment with xref files in my current project. When loaded in, all layers are greyed/faded and not visible in the model space. The red circle denotes area where xref should be showing up. I'v tried entering XDWGFADECTL and setting to 0 in both the current drawing and the xref drawing but nothing is happening.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please see attached image.

Hi,

>> When loaded in, all layers are greyed/faded

if do you mean in the Layer Proprieties Manager then this is Normal ... this is the way how attached xref layers will appear .

>> and not visible in the model space.

if you start a new empty CAD drawing and attached that xref ... does it appear or what ? if yes .. then get back and check your layer status .

Regards,

Hey @Anonymous

You can adjust the display of of your xref as follows:

Go to options (either by using the right click shortcut menu or the the application menu)

Display tab (bottom right corner)

The scale ranges -90 to 90; -90 less faded and 90 very faded

There are a number of reasons for this to be happening. Post the drawing and the XREF to illuminate all doubt and guessing.
