Or change to the AutoCAD folder and include your target paths in your parameters:

C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2020> SLIDELIB Parameters

This worked great. Thank you for your help. I looked at slideman as well but I prefer the free option.

CMD does not recognize slidelib command

I'm trying to make/edit slide libraries that haven't been maintained since 2005. The instructions to create the slide library makes sense except when I go to use command prompt and type in "slidelib" it responds with slidelib command is not recognized. Any ideas on what is needed to get this to work? I assume I will need to add a directory to the environmental variables but I'm not sure what that would be.

Thanks in advance.

You will need to access the command window (dos box) and execute the slidelib.exe from the autocad folder. Either work from your target folder and execute with:

D:\MyFolder>"C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2020\slidelib.exe" Parameters

Or change to the AutoCAD folder and include your target paths in your parameters:

C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2020> SLIDELIB Parameters

There is a much easier way with SlideMan 2.0.
