midpoint osnap keeps activating

i dont have midpoint osnap selected in my osnap settings but it keeps wanting to snap to midpoint.

Hi,

you may need to check if there is any installed plug-ins or lisp in your system .

You have and add-on or a custom routine that flips it on for you. 2014 is not new: so what is with your setup? What have changed?

i work with a plain jane system as far as i know....my company doesnt customize anything. the ONLY thing i have changed was adding some hatch patterns for bar grating and diamond floor plate. I can cut and paste them from that directory and restart autocad to see if that does anything.

if you restart your AutoCAD ... in a new and empty drawing did you find a same behavior ?

interesting ... if you turn OFF your osnap ( F3 ) .. any changes while turning on and off !!!

thanks! its not a show stopper but it makes me worry what else is wrong

i didnt know mech had different osnap settings.....but you still have to switch to user settings
