Opening a CAD file is not working properly

My AutoCAD Civil 3D 2011 crashed on me. When it is up and running, I go to open a file and it won't open the directory where the file would normally be. Instead it is prompting me to open the file thru the command line. See below...

How do I get back to opening a file thru the pulldown menu or pick on the open folder icon?

Hi @ghernandezJPLSS Set the variable FILEDIA to 1
