Hi,

>> i've checked it and it is set to performance

You have checked this while the laptop was not connected to power?

Make one additional test, one time the laptop plugged in, one time not, in each state do the following steps:

start AutoCAD with an empty drawing

start command _GRAPHICSCONFIG

create a screenshot and show it here.

Reason: on systems with 2 graphic cards AutoCAD might not see the correct GPU when in unplugged mode.

Also important: besides of the laptop performance settings, some graphic cards have their own settings, so verify that too. Even if the CPU is set to high performance in unplugged more, the GPU might run in power saving mode.

I bet your machine is configured to not be as fast when not plugged in... have you checked your power settings?
