XREF AND PASTE COORDINATED IS NOT WORKING.. WHY?

Hello there..

I would like to ask you guys how to solve my problems. (Im using Autocad 2019.) Here is my problem...

I had this project that i had drawn and then creating another several drawing using the first drawing as xref. But now, i have a drawing that is not overlap with any drawing. I try using xref but its not overlap and even copy paste BP (0,0) is still not overlapped with other drawing. Does anyone can help me with this?

Hi and Welcome to AutoCAD Forum,

that means that :

that CAD file not set at the right coordinate . ( maybe - check that)
check BASE command in your drawings , which will fix your issue if any error in INSBASE command .
check if UCS is in World in all of your drawings .

But the drawing i mad is using the 1st drawing as reference..

It could still be not on the same point?

have you check BASE command for your files ?

if NOT fixed ... would you upload here two CAD files that describe your issue ?

Hi,

There are so many options.

4 of the ones I guess happening most

Your XRef is not inserted at 0,0,0
You are using a UCS other than world (or at least other than used for copy and paste)
You are copying blocks with same names, but different block-definition content
You files and blocks are using different units (command _UNITS and command -DWGUNITS)

OK..
I already check the problem and I even restore the default settings of the CAD..
After I tried the command of DWGUNIT, I notice that there is INSUNITS is mentioned..
There, I found that the unit is different for all the files...
after I sync them, everything is good.

I hope this solve the problem.
