XCLIP References

I cannot see my XREF once I create a clipping boundary upon it. Invert clip command does not solve the situation. I have looked all over google, but I cannot come across any answer. Has anyone else come across this situation, if so have you found a solution and what is it ?

Things to check :

if any updates needed for your AutoCAD . >> Click <<
if disabling hardware acceleration help ( GRAPHICSCONFIG command ).
if you make a new trial CAD drawing and for a simple shape , any changes ?

Hi,

what happens when you open the XRef manager, right-click this reference and use "Reload"?

This doesn't make any difference, the xref itself reloads but still doesn't show via the clipping boundary. Thanks

does removing the clip boundary make the XRef visible?

Which version of AutoCAD do you have? (command _ABOUT and screenshot might help)

Ahh, yes. It work in a new and fresh file. What does this mean for my existing files though ? It looks like the file itself is corrupted so much to not allow me to use the xclip command properly....

Good ... try to attache please the same xref to a new CAD file and xclip it , any changes ?

Great... that means there is something in a certain CAD drawing . if you can attache your drawing ( with the problem ) and the xref to see and check , it will be a great chance ?
