Double click inside the viewport to activate it and then with nothing selected look on the properties palette for annotative scale and change it to whatever annotative scale you want.

I was just wondering if it is possible to set the annotative scale for text that is different from the viewport scale.

For example, I have an overall existing conditions sheet and a site existing conditions sheet. I would like to have certain text have a 0.15 paper space height on the site existing conditions sheet, but a 0.10 paper space height on the overall existing conditions sheet due to space limitations. The site existing conditions sheet is at 1"=40', and the overall existing conditions sheet is at 1"=100'. I thought I could set the paper text height to 0.10 so it could be 0.10 on the overall sheet, then set the text annotative scale to be 1"=60' on the site sheet so it would show up as 0.15, however it won't let me change the scale from 1"=40' in the viewport with a 1"=40' scale..
