Cant change attach to overlay in classic xref dialog anymore

I prefer the classic xref dialog, and you could always double click on the word attach to switch to overlay.

In 2019, that is gone. You have to open the modeless .xref dialog that I dislike for general xref handling and change it there. My subscription dollars at work?

Still works on my AutoCAD 2019. Perhaps you're trying to toggle the change on a nested xref?

I went to check my sanity, as I know I am not dealing with nested xrefs, and the darn thing is working now.

I do use Quikpick add-on, so unchecked and tried, so that may have shaken something up.

I rechecked the quikpick items and they are not affecting things.

There is some pattern here as this happened on another machine recently but it must be something I am doing.

thanks for your reply, I might have not pursued this as I only double clicked the word "attached" 20 times and stopped.

Then I hit my head against the wall 10 times, and that did not help so I stopped that too..
