Use the herringbone pattern at a rotation of 45 degrees [or 135, or...]. If that doesn't do what you want, post an image of what a chevron pattern should look like.

Are you trying to load the pattern with 2mm gap with Revit's Fill Manager?
That won't work for you in the same way as your attempting to load the
herringbone pattern with a 2mm gap did not work for you. The Revit Fill
manager will not allow it and will issues the same message.

If you MUST model to such a fine degree than you can circumvent the Revit
Fill Manager by employing the HatchKit Add-In for Revit to load outsized
patterns.

A 100x600x1mm pattern definition can be readily derived from that for a
200x1200x2mm pattern by halving every value within the definition apart from
the first value on each line which contains the element angle. As each
pattern element can be defined by a line of form

angle, x-origon, y-origin, x-offset, y-offset, +ve stroke-length, -ve
stroke-length

scaling can be achieved by changing all values (apart from the first) by the
same scaling factor possibly with Excel or even more easily within our
Add-in.

What's the 1200mm dimension? It looks like @hugha 's patterns [the first of which has the same issue as before -- "perpendicular" lines are not perpendicular] are based on the upper one here, but might you really want the lower one?

And again, are you talking about those dimensions being true actual tile [or whatever they are] size, or center-to-center of joint size?

But I agree with @hugha -- the joints are so tiny compared to the tile size that there must be only a very limited set of circumstances in which it's worth showing both edges of the joints. If you're showing it at a size such that the joint width is apparent, you probably won't be showing enough of it to really see the pattern.

Yes it is possible. If you know how to create a Block, then you can do it using Super Hatch command.

Create or draw your hatch pattern. Then turn it into a block. Next, use Super Hatch command, found on the Express Tools Ribbon. It will 'tile' your block to fill up your area. Put some thought into how you draw your hatch and how you turn your hatch into a block. If you don't, your Super Hatch won't tile nicely. If you need to scale or rotate your hatch, keep your eye on the command line, there are scale and rotate options built into the command.

There's some ambiguity there.... Which 1200mm [long edge or overall]? Which 30° angle?

Or maybe the length from one and the angle from the other? And/or might you want the 200mm along the angled edge, rather than perpendicular to the long edges? Or some other configuration I haven't thought of?

And the same questions apply as before about the joints: single-line or double, and if double, how wide is the joint and are the tile sizes actual [tile edges themselves] or nominal [to the mid-line of the joints]?

Also, because of the nature of Hatch pattern definitions, it may not be possible to have a precise 30° angle [whichever it is].
