You cannot do that with the raster image which has been xrefed. But you can achieve that with OLE. To do that select the OLE and open up the properties(ctrl+1) and then change lock aspect as "NO"

Now you would be able to stretch it as you wanted.

Hello,

The question is actually already put up in the title 🙂

Briefly, when stretching acad entitites, OLE object and images are being resized, and I do not want that.

Is there a way to prevent that, because I don't recall having same issues in previous versions of Autocad - like AutoCad 2014?

Thank you

Turn off the frames around those objects (FRAME command) or put them on separate layers then lock those layers.

Hello, thank you for your quick response. 🙂

Unfortunatelly, this is not what I would like. FRAME does solve the resize issue, as you suggested, but what I want is image or OLE object to move along the connections or lines I'm stretching… just as all other acad entities do, when they are fully captured into the selection window.

Hi, thank you, but this is still not, what I want.

What happens, when stretching a part of drawing, is this on the attached Picture - stretching in three steps:

So this is not the result I want, regardless of how the frame is set or the OLE object has locked aspect or not.

The result I want is this:

I hope this is understandable enough.

I doubt that there is way to do that. A workaround would be to place a point(PO) near the intersection of the blue line and ole towards the side your trying to stretch and exclude the OLE from the stretch action and then use move command to move the OLE towards the point.

Well, obviously you are right. There is no straight forward sollution. The easiest way, as I see it so far, would be to create a block out of that OLE object. When you create a block, it can not be stretched or resized, so it works.
