I have an image that I am applying to an extruded object as a material.

The material comes out darker than the original image.

Is there a way to correct this without using lighting?

I've attached a jpeg. The material is on top and the original image is on the bottom.

Thanks in advance!

Jennifer

Hello @Anonymous,

When applying an image to a object especially when it require a specific scale that differs from the original image these type of distortions will occur. Try playing around with the Material Editor settings to get it as close as possible. I don't see a big difference between the images.

Also, keep in mind when you render your scene the image's brightness may change.

Please "Accept Solution" if a reply or replies have helped resolve the issue or answered your question, to help others in the community.
