OLE Text Size Question

When I paste an Excel table into my drawing, it comes in extremely small. My issue is that I don't fully understand the "OLE Point Size" and how it relates to the "Text Height" in the OLE Text Size dialog box. The rest of the text in my drawing is set to 3.75" text height and I would like for the OLE text size to be the same. When setting a OLE point size to 3.75", the text height is less than 3.75". Can anyone help me understand what's missing on this?

Yes, I have tried both of the help links provided and have watched the referenced YouTube video. All links were not helpful as it didn't address the issue I was having.

I wanted the actual text height to be 3.75" and changing the text height value to that in the OLESCALE settings does not make the actual text height 3.75".

What I did find to work was multiplying the text height number (right after pasting) in the OLESCALE settings by whatever my LTSCALE was set to. For example, I want the actual text height to be 3.75" and the OLE comes in at 1/8" text height under OLESCALE. My LTSCALE is set to 48, so I multiply 1/8 by 48 and get 6. After adjusting the OLESCALE text height to be 6", I get an actual text height of 3.75", give or take a little.

Sounds like typical ACAD programming. What you see is not what you always get. I have this same issue. Hard to get things to just work by default. Always have to fiddle with them can never just be set once and forget it.

I always hated OLEs and haven't used one since the option to insert as an AutoCAD object was introduced years ago. They come in with exactly the text sizes I want them to.
