    <description>&lt;P&gt;I would go ahead and set your explorer to show file extensions for known types. There should be under File-&amp;gt;Options View Tab a toggle for "Hide Extensions for Know file Types". Make sure it is unchecked. The browse to see if the extension is in fact .dwg for the file you mentioned.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>.sv$ wont open</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I found my .sv$ temp files in the C drive, I changed the extension to .dwg and nothing happened.&amp;nbsp; Another thing I noticed is in Windows explorer the extension on my autocad drawings don't show the .dwg, are these issues related.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;HI&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;if in the explorer the "hide extension" is on&amp;nbsp; you cant rename it&amp;nbsp; currently.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;maybe your rename it with original extension&amp;nbsp; like this&amp;nbsp; "cadfilename.dwg.&lt;SPAN&gt;sv$"&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;if you turn off&amp;nbsp; the&amp;nbsp;"hide extension" your file must be cadfilename.dwg&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;the icon should be changed&amp;nbsp;.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;by the way cheek the&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;file size,it must&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;to be same size&amp;nbsp; as your&amp;nbsp; main file ,not zero&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="Capture.JPG" style="width: 251px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/693504iD417B5103FD3FB72/image-size/medium?v=v2&amp;amp;px=400" role="button" title="Capture.JPG" alt="Capture.JPG" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;you can open the second&amp;nbsp;one&amp;nbsp; ,not the first&amp;nbsp;one.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;good luck&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
