How to measure a "true length" of the pipe?

Hello all,

I am working on a piping project in auto cad. The drawing is scaled at 3/32" = 1'. I want to measure the section "true-length" of one of the pipes which is 26' in length on the drawing. It is drawn correctly. However, I know that this is not the true length of the pipe which they are going to install at the site. Can someone tell me how do I determine the section length of the pipe?

There seems to be a direct contradiction there.... If it's drawn correctly, what makes you say it's not the true length? Are you talking about something like flanges extending beyond a nominal length, where the nominal length is the drawn length but the actual overall length including flanges is longer?

Slope distance = sq rt ((Hz dist squared) + (vert dist squared))

So, if the hz dist is 100 and the vertical dist is 4:

(100*100) + (4*4) = 10,016

Square root of 10,016 is 100.0799. That's the "true length" of the pipe.
