Hi,

>> I am trying to fit grid on Paper Space to the Model Space's one,

>> but it doesn't work.

Are you referring to the AutoCAD internal grid or have you created your own grid (e.g. lines).

In second case (which is the only one that would make sense for me) ... what is allowed, just zooming, or scaling (any of these 2 grids)?

And at least, why not using the viewport scale property? If your distances of the grid drawn in paperspace and the distances of the grid in the modelspace are the same, you just need to use the viewport scale 1:1

A drawing might help too!

can i ask you why you try that? because even you success fit them, by first pan or zoom in model space the model space's gird being moved.

Thank you for your replying.

I am creating electrical wiring diagram, for that reason we are always working on the parameter I've attached. no grid or snap can be changed. Of course no scaling. Zoom is allowed.

I tried to find grid on the viewport property, but I don't see it, not sure now to change it (See the attachment).

For security reason I am not allowed to send drawings.

hi my friend, If I understand correctly, your problem is that you cant see grid of layout when you active viewport it means in model space you cant see the grid of paper space. so you can active F9 in paper space and draw some vertical and horizontal xlines in snap of this grid, now go to model space and use that xlines as like as grid of paper space. this solution is not perfect but i hope it solves your problem.
