Drawing Properties Custom Properties

Hello everyone,

I updated AutoCad 2019 LT to 2020 LT version and now lost custom properties in all drawings.
When I open drawings in AutoCad 2019 the custom properties still work correctly.

So it’s something with 2020 that is causing the problem.

I am wondering if the function was removed or turned off?

Attached are screenshots.

would you check if the latest AutoCAD 2020 LT update is installed please ?

Hi,

you are showing the properties of 2 different drawings, can you please make sure to open the same dwg-file in both AutoCAD releases and verify if you see differences now too?

Hi Alfred,

yes, it is the same dwg, just it is renamed.

And it happens generally on all drawings.

Hi,

can you please upload a dwg-file that shows dwg-properties in 2019 but not in 2020?

Also please start command _ABOUT and show us a screenshot from that dialog.

Here you go.

It is originally created in AutoCad2019 full version but AutoCad 2019 LT open it regularly unlike the 2020 version.

I had to delete the content of drawing and some layouts but the custom property is there.

can you please show the _ABOUT screenshot from 2020 too?

I did a complete uninstall and reinstalled 2020…and did not migrate the previous settings…it works now. Thanks for looking into this Alfred…not sure what the problem was.
