Qudrant issue

Hi,

Does anyone know why the quadrant of a circle does not follow a new ucs position and always follows world ucs. When you need to put holes in an object that is not in world ucs this makes snapping to the quadrant while following that object impossible.

Because it is not a circle, it is a 3Dsolid (perhaps) ? then it is not the same and usual,

the quadrant on a circle has nothing to do with the circle object data, on a 3Dsolid it is.

I don't know and without a sample i can't check it.

Upload a file with (only) one circle with the issue and your settings.

Bitte wirklich nur ein Objekt und die entsprechende Einstellungen, so muß man nicht erst noch suchen, thx.

Admittedly not in 3D, but it's not working as you describe for me. I drew the white Circle in the WCS, rotated the UCS 45 degrees, started a Line command, and asked for QUAdrant Osnap, and it's finding the Quadrant in the current UCS:

[That happens to be in Paper Space, but I get the same result in Model Space.]

Yes I get the same in 2D as you say. I think it must be a 3D thing then when using the cylinder command to make holes, as my example shows. I guess it just one of those CAD things I will have to live with, does seem a bit daft though.

Yes it is.

A workaround is to set DELOBJ to 0 to leave 2D objects, or set to -3 to be prompted to delete or not.
