Hi,

I'm trying to build a parallelepiped, but I'm having a problem as I need to put some grooves to it. What I've done - I drew big rectangle and four smaller for a grooves. Then I stretched upper edge of the rectangles to have the proper angle between X axis and the edge of the parallelepiped. Before this operation, all edges were parallel to each other, but afterwards, edges of smaller rectangles are not parallel to the big one's. It is visible on the screenshot attached - at the bottom distances between edges are different than on top. Any ideas what could cause such a behavior?

Thanks in advance

Kris

You must not stretch all rectangles at once.

>>Here<< a suggestion how you can do it. (Of course the oblique "construction" lines you have to draw in the proper angle).
