Bad Quality Text and Text Styles

Hi everyone

I hope someone will be able to help me with this.

When i write in any type of text, whether it is in a Multileader or a Multiline text, the quality in the model space, paper space, print preview and PDF version is so bad quality. It looks very pixelated even before you zoom in.

The company i work for have their own set Styles. Arial, 2.5 txt heigh, etc.

What's odd is, in one viewport the text will show as it meant to be and in another viewport it doesn't.

What's even more odd, is when you move the text that displays correctly into to the other viewport, the quality changes and it seems the style of it does too.

i thought maybe its the viewport itself, so i made a new one but it still is the same.

Randomly, some texts quality and the styles change.

I have matched properties and it doesn't help and i have checked the each property and they are as it should be.

I have attached an example of a good and bad version of the text.

i unfortunately cant share the file as it is the property of my company and for legal reasons.

Start a new drawing, all new, and try to replicate the issues there. If you still have issues, ask your CAD Manager and Company IT for help, they might reach out to Autodesk for you too.

I've started a new one, but it seems to still be an existing issue with me and few others as well.

I've asked the IT service and he CAD manager, unfortunately they don't and are still working on it.

A guess: Are all Viewports in PLAN view? If you are not looking straight down on Text from directly above, it can affect the appearance, though I thought it was only in screen display, and that Plotting results were not affected, so it may not be your problem.

Try creating a new text style using a different font and see if that makes a difference. Also not sure why you can’t share a new blank dwg which just has these text problems?

@Kent1Cooper I've checked the view, and its on plan view and unfortunately the issue persists.

@paullimapa legally i am not allowed to upload and share any work, or even a blank page that might show or give access to any settings and specific styles and standards used within the company that can be potentially copied and used in normal/malicious ways.

Take the drawing you have the issues with and delete everything out except the areas you made the JPGs from and send that CAD File like Mr. Pendean requested(name it like your JPGs).

No one will know or care what project your working on, only the font issue to review and solve for you and your company.

It sounds like they are under strict guidelines to not share anything for reasons stated above. Doing so may be a firable offence. It might be prudent for them to ask for permission as opposed to trying to circumvent directives.

Thanks everyone for your help and advice.

as @RSomppi has said, i could lose my job and then some. Due to the nature of the work and the client, i can't share anything. However, i have made my IT department aware, and it seems a junior staff had been doing updates on the system incorrectly which was the cause of this issue.

That has been resolved now and they made a new printer setting for the CAD team and its working fine.

So have you been using a custom PDF printer instead of the built-in AutoCAD pdf printers?
