Can't edit AutoCAD 2019 Fonts folder

Hello:

I need to load a .shx file to my AutoCAD 2019. We are sharing licence in the office and the system requires administrator permission to change. I got administrator's password and try to tick off 'read only' box of the fonts folder to but computer told me 'An error occurred applying attributes to the file: (some .shx files) Access is denied.'. Anyway, I can't save .shx files to AutoCAD 2019 program folders. So I saved file somewhere else and add the address to 'Option' - 'Files' - 'Support Files Search Path' and use command 'load' to load the .shx. It somehow worked, but failed next day. Can anyone told me whether there is a solution for this situation or I have to ask my IT person to change the setting of AutoCAD 2019 from his end? Many thanks!

You can try adding the path to the directory with additional fonts in the registry:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\AutoCAD\R20.1\ACAD-F001:419\Profiles\<<Profile>>\General\ACAD

(example for AutoCAD 2016 Russian - R20.1)
