FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x0028 Exception at E48642F0h

I get this error when I start AutoCAD 2020. I am using Lenovo ThinkPad E490 with Radeon RX 550x. Operating system Windows 10.

So far I have tried the following without any success:

Clean temp files;
Update both Intel UHD and Radeon drivers;
Install all Windows Updates (manually thought Settings/Windows Update);
Uncheck the "Validate digital signature and display special icons" through "acsignopt.exe;
Repair AutoCAD; and
Re-install AutoCAD;

Everytime I rebooted my PC.

It is important to say that this problem appeared today, right after I installed the AMD Radeon Software.

At this point I cannot think of anything else to try. Any help will be highly appreciated.

There may be some additional things for you to try in the link below, from the Autodesk Knowledge Network regarding AutoCAD freezing, hangs or crashes at start up....

Question - when you uninstalled, reinstalled AutoCAD, did you do a 'clean uninstall' using the procedure as linked within the article below?

I have updated radeon graphics driver too... and faced the problem. I got the solution too

As it is problematic because of radeon driver... Why don't we run AutoCAD by our default graphics...

Here is the process :

1. Go to Settings

2. Go to System>Display

3. Go to Graphics Settings(At the end)

4. Browse app(If AutoCAD is not present there), then make it to power saving.

5, Exit and Run AutoCAD ...

Done... Enjoy

This method worked for me... Let me know if it does/does not work for you....

I tried a clean uninstall and now I cannot even install AutoCAD 2020.

I get the following error when the install process starts:

"Error downloading. Please Install Now again fro the Autodesk website".
